Editorial Casals is a family business founded in 1870. At present it mainly concentrates on text books and back - up material, ranging from basic primary education through to higher school (pre university). It also has an extensive number of novels for young people. .

It publishes in spanish, catalan, galician, valencian and basque. It has its own network covering the whole country. The main offices are in Barcelona and Madrid, with branch offices in Tarragona, Valencia, Sevilla, Zaragoza, Mallorca, Coruña and Las Palmas.

It also sells books in several Latin American countries.
